As seems to be the case recently, we will have to finish this shoot in the Spring, BUT I am really pleased with the shots we did get. Allyson was a dear and drove us around (and even dropped me off at my mom's after) because my car died. Anyway, here is a start. (Also, talk about the right lighting...these colors are REAL...like no need for photoshop enhancement. How is green that green?)

I know I have the privilege of taking pictures of SO MANY beautiful people, but let me just go ahead and say it: Katie O'Mara might just be the most adorable person in the world. Inside and out. If you know me, you know that taking pictures of weddings scares me to death, but Megan asked me to take pictures of this "casual" event, and I couldn't say no. (It wasn't quite as casual as I expected, but I recovered without too much fear, I hope.) It was BEAUTIFUL. (Seriously, I cried...) I don't even know Megan that well, and today was my first time meeting Chad, but I am CERTAIN that they are going to be very happy together and will continue to raise beautiful children. What a blessing it was to be a part of this joyous day! Here are a few shots to get started.

Meet the Simmonds family! Scott and Jenny have been parents for three months to the adorable Zack. We met up at a Greenwood park and did a little photo shoot. This was my first family (and baby, for that matter) shoot, so thanks for making it fun and easy!

So, Jamie and I tried this in October. We got some good shots, but I felt like it was incomplete. I still haven't fallen in love with the mandatory Cartwright head shot that must be taken for his wall, but maybe that will be inspired by a trip to New Orleans. I like these pictures because they mix Jamie's goofiness and his overall happiness, a nice combination, even they are a bit belated.

Hello, inquiring minds.

Here is the deal for pictures taken by yours truly.

1. It costs $50.00. This includes as many outfits as you want, a variety of locations, and a CD with your pictures in both black and white and color.

2. You then choose your prints and take care of printing costs on your own, but I can give you suggestions as to the best deals.

3. My pictures WILL BE outside. I don't have a studio. My pictures WILL NOT be perfect. My goal is to capture the true essence of people, so you might still have blemishes, and your eyes won't match the sky. And, it is my goal to capture you laughing. Besides the fact that I am not actually a trained photographer, I kind of like the idea of people finding that they are beautiful on their own, without too much help from a computer program. :)

4. Let me know if you are interested, and we can work out a time. Feel free to browse some former "models" to see my work.
